Privacy Policy
Last updated August 27, 2026
This page explains what information myStoreAlert collects when you use the website, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
1. Information we collect
Account information. You sign in through Whop, and we receive your email address and a unique identifier from Whop. We do not hold a password for you.
ZIP codes. When you check store coverage or request a store, we store the ZIP code you submit, tied to your account or email if you left one.
Email list signups. If you join the free weekly list without creating an account, we store the email address and ZIP code you provide.
Membership and billing. Payment is handled entirely by Whop; we never see or store your card details. We receive your membership status and email from Whop so we can grant access to paid content.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics and a Whop tracking pixel to see which pages get visited and which links convert to signups. This includes standard analytics data such as pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location from IP address.
2. How we use this information
- To create and secure your account, and match paid access to your membership
- To decide which stores to add to our scan rotation
- To send alert emails, the weekly free list, or service updates
- To understand how people find and use the site, so we can improve it
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Who we share data with
These third-party services process data on our behalf:
- Whop handles billing, membership status, and sign-in
- Supabase handles account storage, authentication, and our database
- Google provides Google Analytics

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies for account sessions (keeping you logged in) and for the OAuth sign-in flow. Google Analytics and the Whop pixel set analytics cookies to measure site usage and conversions. You can block these in your browser, though doing so may affect features like staying logged in.
5. Your choices

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We'll date the update at the top of this page.
