Terms of Service

Last updated August 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of the myStoreAlert website, the ZIP-code alert service, and the paid membership sold through Whop. By creating an account, submitting a ZIP code, or subscribing, you agree to them.

1. What myStoreAlert is

myStoreAlert scans publicly visible Home Depot product and pricing pages to identify clearance and penny-priced items at specific stores, and shows what it finds to paying members on their account dashboard on this site. We do not sell products, process retail purchases, or control Home Depot's pricing or inventory.

myStoreAlert is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Home Depot, Inc. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Accuracy and availability

Prices, stock counts, and clearance status change quickly and can vary by store. Data on this site and on your member dashboard may be outdated, incomplete, or wrong by the time you see it. Penny-priced items in particular are never guaranteed to still be available, or to ring up at that price, until scanned at checkout. Verify price and availability in store before making a trip based on an alert.

Scanning runs on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that every markdown at your store reaches your dashboard, or that it appears there before the item sells out.

3. Accounts

You sign in through Whop, the same account you pay with. There is no separate myStoreAlert password. You are responsible for keeping that login confidential and for activity that happens under your account. One account per person; don't share your login or resell access.

4. Membership, billing, and cancellation

Paid membership is billed through Whop on a recurring monthly basis. New members get a 3-day free trial; if you don't cancel before the trial ends, billing begins automatically. Founding Member pricing is locked for as long as your subscription stays active without a lapse in payment; canceling and resubscribing later may be at the then-current price.

You can manage or cancel your subscription directly through Whop. Canceling stops future charges but does not retroactively refund amounts already billed, except where required by law or at our discretion.

5. ZIP-code requests

When you submit a ZIP code, we add the nearest store to our scan rotation if it isn't already covered. Adding a store to rotation doesn't guarantee immediate coverage, a fixed refresh schedule, or that any particular item type will be found there.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, republish, or resell data from this site or the member dashboard in bulk
  • Automate account creation or bypass membership restrictions
  • Harass Home Depot staff, misrepresent penny pricing at checkout, or otherwise cause trouble in-store using information from this service
  • Share your paid account with people who haven't subscribed

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without a refund for the current billing period in cases of serious or repeated violation.

7. Limitation of liability

myStoreAlert is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate data, missed alerts, wasted trips to a store, refused sales, or any decision you make based on information from this service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be dated and, where practical, emailed to active members.

9. Contact
